A beloved athlete was among 4 people killed and more than 15 teens shot at a Sweet 16 birthday party in Alabama

One of the victims killed was Philstavious Dowdell — a stellar high school football player and the brother of the girl celebrating her 16th birthday, a DJ at the party and the football team’s chaplain said.
