Officials in Massachusetts are reportedly investigating after a 53-year-old fan attending Sunday night’s game between the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins died following what witnesses say was an altercation in the stands.
Dale Mooney, a resident of Newmarket, New Hampshire, suffered an “apparent medical event” during the fourth quarter of the game at Gillette Stadium before being rushed to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead just before midnight, Boston 25 reported, citing Massachusetts State Police.
